Title of Bill: Allocation for Scanlan Society Events
Sponsor(s): Senator Héroux
Be it resolved by the Franciscan University Student Government (SG) that:
$270 be allocated to the Scanlan Society for the remainder of their events this semester.
Recognizing that:
- Due to miscommunications last semester, the Scanlan Society was not included in the budget.
- The Scanlan Society meets twice a week and currently has 8 members and hopes to increase it to 12 by next week.
- The Scanlan Society is a student organization dedicated to continuing the mission of Fr. Michael Scanlan: to bring about renewal at Franciscan University, personally and culturally.
